Situated in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, a short fifteen minute drive from Kelowna, Lakeview Village strives to become the first environmentally responsible social village of the future.

Nestled on a south facing narrow plateau overlooking the majestic lake and surrounded by vineyards, Lakeview Village will work with the natural contours of the hill with rising terraces shaded with trellised vines to resemble a Tuscan village.

Inspired by the warmth and character of Tuscan villages, Lakeview Village will work with the natural landscape - the vine trellised terraces will follow the subtle slope rising subtly around a central campanile, enclosing an inviting traditional street pattern. Inside, an open village square is ringed with shops, cafes and services along with an engaging public seasonal market.

Drawing on the lessons of communities that were common in smaller places and earlier times, Lakeview Village hopes to inspire positive relationships and a strong sense of togetherness through its structural design. The unique climate, geography and history of the Okanagan Valley create the ideal conditions for a modern interpretation of an old world hill-top village.
